Activities and Games

Here you will find a range of activities to support your child's communication and language development. This page will be updated periodically with new activities for you to try with your child at home. If you require an additional support for your child's speech, language and communication development or you have any questions or concern, please speak to your child's class teacher.

December Activity

Collect some objects together from around your home or park. Encourage your child to describe the object – ‘Is it smooth?’ ‘Heavy?’. Put some water in a bowl and encourage your child to choose an object and put it into the water. Ask them ‘Do you think it will float or sink?’
